When someone knows some, but refuses to tell you. Then, they go and ask you "Is everything ok?" and when you tell them what happened, whether if effected you or not, they THEN tell you that they knew that, but didn't want to tell you in case it hurt your feelings.

Something such as....your girlfriend cheated on you?
